Who will thigh lift surgery benefit?

Many people who think they will be suitable for thigh lift surgery end up choosing liposuction instead, due to the relatively serious scarring that occurs with thigh lift surgery. How is thigh lift surgery done?

Excess skin is removed along the inner thigh area, which may extend from the inner knee to the groin area, and may carry on to the buttock area, dependant on the amount of excessive skin to be removed.

What results can I expect from thigh lift surgery?

How long is the recovery period from thigh lift surgery?

Patients of inner thigh lift surgery are advised to take 2-3 weeks’ holiday from work. A 2 night stay in a comfortable Transform hospital is required. Wounds are checked 7 days after surgery.

Are there any after effects to thigh lift surgery?

Patients will experience soreness in the legs and should avoid walking far or driving for 3-4 weeks after surgery. A compression bandage is advised to be wron for a number of weeks after the procedure to facilitate shrinkage of the tissue and prevent swelling.

Aside from normal, post-surgery discomfort, you should not experience side effects from a thigh lift. If anything abnormal is happening, you are encouraged to get in touch with the clinic as soon as possible so we can see if there is any problem is and, if so, put it right straight away.
