Yes. So many mums come to us for breast enhancement surgery. Pregnancy and breast-feeding can take their toll on your breasts. Many women find they no longer feel confident about their shape and choose breast enlargement to create fuller curves.

3. My breasts have lost their volume. Can breast enhancement help?

Yes. Losing weight can cause your breasts to lose volume. The same can happen as a result of the ageing process. Breast enlargement surgery replaces lost volume and gives your breasts the fullness you want.

6. Where will my implants go?

There are two placement options for your breast implants.
Implants can be placed in front of the pectoral muscle. This often happens when there’s breast tissue or excess skin that needs to be filled, for example, after breastfeeding.
Alternatively, implants can be placed behind the pectoral muscle. This normally happens when there’s a lack of breast tissue or no excess skin to fill.

9. Can I combine breast surgery with other procedures?

Yes, you can. Your Surgeon might suggest an associated procedure such as a breast uplift (mastopexy) to create the look you want.
You might also choose to combine breast enlargement with a different procedure such as liposuction. Your Surgeon will discuss the options available to you.

10. When can I go back to work?

Everyone is different, but on average, breast surgery patients need to wait a week before going back to work after breast enhancement.
Your breasts will be a little tender and swollen after breast surgery so it’s good to wear a sports bra at first for extra comfort. We suggest you wait 6 to 8 weeks before doing strenuous exercise or lifting.

11. What about aftercare?

To ensure the best recovery, you’ll have a post-operative appointment with a clinic Nurse and a review with your Surgeon. They’ll discuss your breast surgery and aftercare, check everything is healing well and make sure you’re happy with the results.
If you have any questions or concerns after your procedure, you can also talk to our resident medical officer at any time on the 24/7 Transform Patient Helpline.
