1. Who will buttock augmentation benefit?

Both men and women with shapeless or flat bottoms can benefit from buttock implants.

Buttock augmentation will not benefit people who have excessive skin as a result of weight loss - a thigh lift would be more suitable to achieve a better shape.

Buttock implant surgery is performed under general anaesthetic (which means you will be completely unconscious during the operation). The shaped silicone implants are inserted into a pocket made by your Surgeon.

6. How long is the recovery period from the surgery?

Buttock implant surgery is performed under general anaesthetic, so you will be required to stay overnight in the comfortable surroundings of a Transform cosmetic surgery hospital.

Transform recommend you take 2 weeks holiday off work and that you avoid strenuous exercise for at least 6 weeks. Swelling and discomfort in the buttock area will resolve itself within a few days. After 1 week you will be able to walk around normally and sit in relative comfort.
