1. Is cheek augmentation right for me?
If you are looking for improved facial definition, cheek implants can help you achieve the results you want. If you would prefer a non-surgical option, dermal fillers can also help to plump out the cheeks.
2. Who will cheek implants benefit?
Some people naturally lack facial definition and they would benefit from cheek implant surgery.
Cheeks can become sunken and hollow through the ageing process and from weight loss. Either can leave you looking tired or older than your actual years. Cheek implants can help to achieve plumper, more accentuated cheeks.
3. Who will perform the surgery?
Your surgery will be performed by one of our cosmetic Surgeons who have been selected for their skill and knowledge.
All our medical professionals have a licence to practice and are registered with the General Medical Council.
All our Anaesthetists are Consultant Anaesthetists. This means they have the highest level of experience possible.
4. Where will my surgery take place?
Your surgery will take place in a Transform cosmetic surgery hospital. These are dedicated to cosmetic surgery, centres of clinical excellence and regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
Your can be confident in the knowledge that you will only ever experience exceptional standards of care, hygiene and facilities as a Transform patient.
5. How is a cheek augmentation surgery performed?
A shaped silicone implant is introduced via either the lower eyelash line or in the mouth between lip and upper teeth.
6. Will I need to stay in hospital?
The procedure is performed under local (conscious but area is numbed) or general anaesthetic (completely unconscious), this will be decided by the Anaesthetist or Surgeon. For this reason it may be possible in some cases to return home the same day. For others, an overnight stay at a Transform cosmetic surgery hospital will be required.
7. How long is the recovery period from cheek surgery?
There will be some initial post-surgery swelling which should subside within a few days. Transform recommend patients who have undergone cheek implant surgery to take at least 2 weeks holiday from work for post-operative recovery.
8. What results can I expect from cheek implants?
Patients who have had cheek implants can expect an improvement in overall facial definition.
9. Is aftercare included in the cost of my surgery?
The cost of your surgery includes a comprehensive aftercare programme. Your Patient Care Co-ordinator will organise a post-operative appointment with a Nurse and a review with your Surgeon - this will take place in your local Transform clinic for your convenience.
Your Surgeon will discuss your results and decide on any further aftercare you might need.

10. Can I combine the surgery with other procedures?
Other facial surgeries could be chosen to further enhance the face including chin implants for definition or a facelift to improve sagging skin.
11. How much does the surgery cost?
Cheek implant surgery costs from £4,670. Your Patient Care Co-ordinator will be able to provide a cost based on your individual needs.
12. How can I arrange to have a cheek augmentation?
You can use our online form or call us on 0800 655 6406 to arrange an appointment with a Patient Care Co-ordintor at your local Transform clinic. Your Patient Care Co-ordinator can discuss your requirements and arrange a free consultation with one of our Surgeons.
Once you have all the information you need, you can then arrange for the surgery with your Patient Care Co-ordinator who will be able to assist you with all the arrangements.
