Dental Implants
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are the most discreet, resilient and effective method of replacing missing teeth. It is an artificial tooth root that is anchored into your jaw bone to hold a replacement tooth or denture in place.
Benefits of dental implants
Dental implants are the most natural solution for missing teeth. Unlike traditional dentures, implants won’t move around in your mouth or irritate your gums.
With dental implants, you can dramatically improve the appearance of your teeth and regain a confident smile.
How do denture implants work?
The treatment begins with an operation to set the implants. This can be done with a local or general anaesthetic, depending on your preference.
The implants are small titanium screws that are placed into the jawbone to create a permanent new root. This fuses with the living bone to form a strong foundation where a replacement tooth / teeth are attached during the second stage of the treatment.
Dental implant results
The implants will need 3 to 6 months into integrate with bone. You will be given a temporary restoration in the meantime. Once the replacement tooth / teeth have been attached, the results can last for at least 15 years.
Tooth implants and other treatments
Porcelain veneers can be an alternative to implants if you don’t want to replace the entire tooth.
For a complete smile makeover, you may also consider Invisalign teeth straightening and teeth whitening treatments.

The prices of dental procedures are always calculated on an individual basis. Your Patient Care Co-ordinator will discuss the cost of your treatment when you you visit the clinic.
