What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers gently soften wrinkles, lines and can fill out hollows to create the smooth contours of younger skin - without surgery.

As your skin ages, it loses the collagen that helps to shape and support it. Dermal fillers replace this volume. Dermal fillers can reduce wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, create fuller lips and give your face a more supple, toned look.

Dermal filler results

Treatment with injectable fillers is quick and comfortable. The results are immediate and last from 6 to 18 months depending on the dermal filler used.

Dermal filler prices

The cost of dermal fillers starts at £245. Your Transform Non-surgical Patient Care Co-ordinator will tell you more and advise you on the right cosmetic fillers for you at your free consultation.

Dermal filler products

There are two main types of dermal filler. One type adds volume to specific areas of the face and creates fuller lips. The other type fills out lines and wrinkles and smoothes skin on selected areas of the face such as around the eyes and mouth.

Types of dermal fillers

At Transform, we use only premium range dermal fillers. These are the best cosmetic fillers available and have been proven to be safe and effective.

This is a selection of the dermal fillers we use for effective wrinkle reduction:

Restylane

The Restylane range features clear gel dermal fillers that smooth wrinkles, fine lines and folds and add natural-looking volume to your face.

Juvederm

The Juvederm range of dermal fillers includes the latest hyaluronic acid volumisers. These mimic the effects of naturally occurring collagen by plumping up gaunt areas on cheeks and chin and sculpting more youthful contours.

Sculptra

Sculptra wrinkle fillers are based on Poly-L-actic acid and give you double benefits. Sculptra fills in lines and wrinkles and also stimulates your skin’s natural production of new collagen. Instant results with long-term benefits.

Combination treatments – ‘the non-surgical facelift’

Many people use injectable fillers together with line smoothing injections to achieve even better results. This combination of treatments is often described as ‘the non-surgical facelift’.
