MEN JUST CANT HANDLE THE HEAT

As Britain experiences its hottest summer for years, men and women have been flashing the flesh in a bid to combat the heat. But it seems the thought of baring chests and wearing tight t-shirts is forcing some men to get their moobs reduced and their waistlines trimmed.

According to the latest figures from Transform, the UKs leading cosmetic surgery group, the number of men enquiring for moob jobs has almost doubled in the last week alone, from 7% to a whopping 15%.

And its not just their pecs that are causing concern for Britains men. With their footballing heroes, such as Rio Ferdinand and Christiano Ronaldo baring their buff bodies, and Peter Andre showing off his svelte new-look, phones have been ringing off the hook with men desperate to lose the lard.

The average 5% male liposuction enquiries have increased to 10%.

Says Shami Thomas from Transform: Typically men only make up 12% of all enquiries at Transform but over the last few weeks weve seen a huge increase, with them now making up 22% of all enquiries.

But its not the typical rhinoplasty requests our call staff our getting. Body surgery enquiries have both doubled in just a week and were pretty sure thats down to the weather. Men are just as vain as women when it comes to looking good and are also heavily influenced by the celebrity culture. They want to look their best in the summer months and are prepared to take drastic measures in a bid to get the perfect beach body.
