1. Is liposuction right for me?

While liposuction is no substitute for exercise and a healthy diet, it can help if you have stubborn pockets of fat that refuse to go away.

4. How is the surgery carried out?

There are two different types of lipoplasty, though both are commonly referred to under the banner of liposuction. Liposuction surgery actually refers to a procedure which breaks down fat, which is then sucked out through a small tube inserted into the area.

Liposculpture refers to a technique that uses a syringe to remove fat. As the required incision is smaller, this type of treatment is less invasive.
