Botox to thank as bride-to-be overcomes ten years of pain

Over the past
couple of years, researchers have unveiled a host of additional
benefits of the anti-ageing drug, including its ability to combat
migraines.
Now, the Daily Mail has reported that Antonia Blake is now able to
enjoy a relatively normal lifestyle ten years after the incident
which left her confined to bed in pain for 12 hours a day.
The 36-year-old explained that, by giving her
Botox jabs alongside traditional physiotherapy,
her new team of doctors were able to reduce the pain
significantly.
"Her treatment included the use of steroid injections to damp down
the pain and
Botox injections which gave the effect of
localised paralysis," said Dr Kathryn Davies from the Royal Devon
and Exeter Hospital.
"Now she bounces into the clinic looking healthy and happy. She
made herself better, but with a bit of help from us."
At the end of last month, Dr Sid Gautam of DermaSkin.co.uk advised
that
Botox injections could stave off depression by
giving people a self-confidence boost.
