Modern surgery 'all about facial rejuvenation'

Modern trends in the cosmetic surgery industry are all about facial procedures to rejuvenate one's appearance, an expert has suggested.

Dr Jason Diamond, a surgeon whose operations are regularly shown on reality series Dr 90210, told the Augusta Chronicle about what is popular at the moment.

Because there are many options, such as Botox and dermal fillers, for those who want to turn back the years, facial procedures can have a really positive effect on the patient, he said.

"It does something internally that creates a youthful personality as well," Dr Diamon explained. "It's quite an amazing thing."

He added that in addition to a physical change, facial procedures often lead the patient to act with more confidence, youth and vigour - which can be just as positive.

Meanwhile, the popularity of Botox was recently displayed on Katie Price's reality show. The TV star and pal Michelle Heaton were both filmed having the anti-wrinkle injections.
