Woman loses 7st after gastric band surgery

A woman whose weight increased to 18 stone after an injury meant
she could not exercise or diet has told of her happiness since
having gastric band surgery.
Sharon Burge told the Sun how she shed seven stone following the
weight management surgery and then decided to have her excess skin
taken away.
The 46-year-old said paying £4,000 for gastric band surgery would
be "money well spent" and she returned to a size 12 in one
year.
However, after regaining her confidence, Mrs Burge decided to go
step further and have a full body lift, involving a tummy tuck,
thigh lift and liposuction.
In addition, she opted for eye bag surgery and fat removal from her
chin.
"I now weigh under ten stone, wear a trim size 12 and adore my
body," she said. "For the first time in ages, [my husband] told me
how sexy I was."
A celebrity who revealed all about her use of a gastric band was
Sharon Osbourne, who is a famous face considered by many to be a
great example of cosmetic surgery.
