Why have Dermaroller™ therapy?
Skin can become damaged and wrinkled by many factors including ageing, exposure to sun and conditions such as stretch marks or scarring from acne. Dermaroller™ therapy could be of benefit to you if you suffer form any of these problems and want smoother, brighter, healthier and younger-looking skin.
The benefits of Dermaroller™ therapy
Dermaroller™ therapy can stimulate your skin to repair the damage already caused to it. It can smooth the look of décolleté lines and wrinkles and also improve the appearance of acne scars, sun damage and stretch marks. Dermaroller™ therapy also involves significantly less downtime than many other skin damage treatments.
Dermaroller™ treatment
Our aestheticians are fully trained in the use of genuine Dermaroller™ medical equipment. Before treatment a topical anaesthetic is applied to your skin to make therapy more comfortable. The Dermaroller™ is then gently rolled over your skin and micro-medical needles penetrate into the dermis of your skin. The Dermaroller™ is a sterile, single-use device to ensure that your safety is never compromised. Watch our Dermaroller™ treatment video.
The results
Your skin will begin to naturally repair itself after treatment. New collagen will form with healthy new cells generated. It can take up to 6 weeks to regenerate. This will continue though and should provide natural, long-lasting results.
How long does it take?
A Dermaroller™ therapy session takes around 45 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated.
How much does it cost?
It costs from £250 for one Dermaroller™ therapy session. A course of 3 to 5 treatments is recommended for the best results.
Other options
Microdermabrasion, mesotherapy and other treatments can also help create healthier looking skin. We can discuss these options during your initial appointment.
