Who will Omnilux light therapy benefit?
Anyone who suffers from acne or vitiligo; is looking for skin
rejuvenation; or wound healing (following elective surgery).
How is Omnilux light therapy done?
Omnilux stimulates the body’s own cellular mechanisms by
photomodulation. It is non-invasive, non-ablative, safe therapy.
After consultation to determine which of the LED heads to use, eye
protection may be worn. Then simply lie back, relax and enjoy –
Omnilux light therapy is a relaxing and calming experience. Each
detachable treatment head delivers pure, optimised, narrowband
light via a matrix of LEDs carefully positioned to deliver of light
to the treatment area.
How long will Omnilux light therapy take?
The treatment itself is 20 minutes under the appropriate LED
head.
What results can I expect from Omnilux light therapy?
Many patients experience an immediate effect, however, everyone
will be different. The initial effects you will see are a clearer,
brighter and smoother complexion, often after the first treatment.
The length of the course, and skin type treated, will determine the
final results.
Can I combine other treatments with Omnilux light therapy?
Omnilux is compatible with existing skin rejuvenation techniques
such as BotoxTM (now called VISTABEL©),
IPL, laser
therapy and cosmetic surgery such as blepharoplasty and breast
reduction and breast enlargement.
Are there any after effects from Omnilux light therapy?
Absolutely no after effects with Omnilux light therapy. However,
we would not treat anyone with Epilepsy or Porphyria with this
light treatment.
What is the recovery time after Omnilux light therapy?
There will be no downtime required after Omnilux light
therapy.
