Labia Reduction

Labia reduction: Boost your inner confidence

Labia reduction surgery at Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group

Transform firmly believe that when we look good it helps us to feel good; and this is not necessarily restricted to the face and parts of the body we see regularly. Many women feel unconfident with the way their labia appears; some women feel theirs is too large or appears asymmetrical. This can cause pain during intercourse, chafing or simply embarrassment in intimate situations. Labia reduction surgery reduces the labia minora, the flaps of skin which form the lips of a woman’s genitalia and cover the clitoris and vaginal opening. Transform are experts in this procedure and can help you become more confident about how you look.

Right from your initial consultation, Transform’s team of friendly staff will make you feel at home, answering your questions and putting you at ease. You can be confident in the knowledge that Transform is the UK’s leading cosmetic surgery provider; not only do our surgeons use the latest techniques and implant technology, our comprehensive aftercare programme is also the best in the country, and at no extra cost – something that is unique to Transform.

The surgeon will remove the excess skin from your labia minora, making the labia appear less large and symmetrical.

How long will labia reduction surgery take?

Labia reduction surgery usually takes around 1 hour, so patients are only required to stay on a day case basis, but some are required to stay overnight in the comfortable surroundings of a Transform clinic. Find your local Transform clinic here.

What results can I expect from labia reduction surgery?

Patients who undergo labioplasty can expect a more symmetrical appearance and smaller labia minora after surgery. They will feel more confident in intimate situations and happier with the way they look.

Patients are advised not to have penetrative sex for 6 weeks after surgery. Stitches are removed 7-10 weeks after the operation.

Are there any after effects to labia reduction surgery?

It is normal to experience soreness in the operative area after surgery for 2 - 3 weeks and you should avoid any sexual relations for around 6-8 week after the procedure , with no tampon use for ten days.

Are there risks associated with labia reduction surgery?

Transform has performed more cosmetic surgery than any other provider in the UK. As such, we are extremely experienced; there is no provider better placed to help you become more confident through cosmetic surgery. However, as with all operations, there are some risks associated with a labia reduction surgery. Your surgeon can help put you at ease regarding any worries you may have. You can talk through these concerns at your free consultation.

Can I combine labia reduction surgery with other treatments?

If an enlarged vagina is also an issue, you may be interested in combining labia reduction surgery with vaginal tightening. For many women an enlarged or asymmetrical labia has made them less sexually confident. For this reason they also explore breast surgery, and body sculpting surgery such as liposuction to make them feel more confident – in sex and everyday life too.

How much does labia reduction surgery cost?

Labia reduction surgery costs from £2550. Here at Transform, we don’t see why finance should be a barrier to your happiness; that’s why we offer 12 months’ 0% interest free credit for eye lift surgery. Find out more about flexible finance options.
