1. Is thigh lift surgery right for me?

A thigh lift is very effective at removing excessive skin, especially in the case of someone who has lost a large amount of weight and is carrying folds of skin where fat used to be.

2. Will a thigh lift remove excess fat?

No. If you have thighs with excess fat and would like a more slender or sculpted appearance you may be better suited to liposuction.

3. How is thigh lift surgery performed?

Excess skin is removed along the inner thigh area, which may extend from the inner knee to the groin area and may carry on to the buttock area, depending on the amount of excess skin to be removed.

4. Who will perform the surgery?

5. Where will my surgery take place?

Transform own and operate their own dedicated cosmetic surgery hospitals so you can be looked after by Transform staff every step of the way.

The hospitals are centres of clinical excellence and are regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

6. Will I have to stay overnight?

A two night stay in a comfortable Transform hospital is required. As a patient of Transform you will experience exemplary standards of care, hygiene and facilities.

7. What results can I expect from a thighplasty?

You can expect slimmer looking thighs with tauter skin where the excess skin used to be.

8. What is the normal recovery period from this surgery?

Patients of thigh lift surgery are advised to take 2-3 weeks holiday from work.

9. Can I combine a thigh lift with other procedures?

You may also be interested in an inner arm lift or tummy tuck surgery which are also great for people who have recently lost a lot of weight.

If you wish to have some excess fat removed, rather than excess skin, you may like to explore liposuction instead.

10. How much does it cost?

Thigh lift surgery costs from around £5,500. If you would like to spread the cost, you can apply for finance through Transform.

11. What do the costs include?

We won’t surprise you with any hidden costs. The price you are quoted is all inclusive. This means you won’t be charged any extra for your pre and post op appointments, your overnight stay in a Transform hospital or our comprehensive aftercare.

What’s more, your initial consultation with a Surgeon is free of charge whether you decide to go ahead or not.

12. How do I arrange to have a thigh lift?

Your first appointment will be with a Patient care Co-ordinator at your local Transform clinic. This is your opportunity to ask any questions about costs and the process, from consultation to aftercare so you know exactly what to expect.

13. When do I get to see a Surgeon?

Following your initial appointment with a Patient Care Co-ordinator, you will be invited to a consultation with a Surgeon. Unlike many cosmetic surgery providers, we won’t charge you for your surgical consultation and you won’t be under any obligation to go ahead.
