1. Is a tummy tuck right for me?

A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, might be right for you if you have a flabby, overhanging abdomen that exercise or dieting won’t shift.

2. I’ve just had a baby, can I have a tummy tuck?

Women who have had children often find their abdominal muscles have become weak or their skin has stretched and become loose. A tummy tuck can help achieve a flatter stomach. If you plan to have more children, it is not advisable to have this procedure.

3. Will it help me lose weight?

Weight loss is best achieved with diet and exercise however, some people may find they have an area of their stomach that is resistant to diet and exercise which tummy tucks can help to remove.

4. I’ve lost weight but still don’t have a flat stomach?

As with pregnancy, weight gain can stretch the skin. Once the stomach returns to pre-pregnancy size or weight is lost, the skin can loose its elasticity. An abdominoplasty can remove the excess skin to help you achieve a firmer and flatter stomach.
