NEW Introducing: Ultherapy
Exclusively available from Transform Leeds Clinic, we are delighted to announce the launch of our newest medical aesthetics treatment, Ultherapy.
This involves very precise, micro-focused ultrasound technology with visualisation (MFU-V) energy to lift and sculpt the upper and lower face, neck and décolletage. The treatment targets deep within the skin in order to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin, creating a youthful lifting effect.
Here are the answers to your most asked questions about Ultherapy, what it is, who it is for and how it might work for you:
1. What exactly is Ultherapy?
Put simply, Ultherapy is a treatment which uses ultrasound energy to stimulate both collagen and elastin production in the skin, resulting in a gradual lift over 2-3 months and lasting for around a year. As a completely unique treatment to Transform, it is the only aesthetic procedure that uses micro-focused ultrasound imaging and visualisation to target the deep structural layers of the skin without disrupting the skin’s surface.
2. Who is Ultherapy for?
Typical Ultherapy customers range in age from 30s- 60s, but those who are older or younger may also be candidates. This is because your suitability for the treatment is not determined by age, but rather by skin quality. The ideal candidate for Ultherapy has mild to moderate skin laxity where the skin begins to feel and look less firm.
3. How many Ultherapy treatments will I need?
Most women need just one treatment, but the effectiveness of your treatment will be based on a number of different factors. This can include the degree of skin laxity, the biological response to the treatment and your individual collagen-building process. You may benefit from additional treatments and because the skin continues to age, future touch-ups can help to retain the results of your treatment and a youthful look.
4. When will I see results from Ultherapy and how long will it last?
You may see some initial lift, but the ultimate results will take place over 2–3 months, as the growth of new collagen and elastin replaces old tissue targeted by the treatment. A single Ultherapy treatment can give a lasting effect for over a year and in a consultation, your practitioner will advise on the likely outcomes that you can expect for you.

5. Can Ultherapy be a good alternative to a facelift?
Ultherapy will not duplicate the results of a facelift but is a great option if you don’t want surgery and would prefer a non-invasive treatment with no downtime in recovery. The procedure is CE- certified for non-surgical lifting of the skin on the upper and lower face, neck and décolletage.
6. Will I need to take time off work?
With Ultherapy there is very minimal downtime. After your treatment, you can carry on your day and resume your normal activities. Potential side effects include redness for a few hours or slight swelling for a few days following the procedure. Tingling or tenderness to the touch is possible for a few weeks afterwards also.
7. How much does Ultherapy cost?
Every Ultherapy treatment is personalised and depends on the treatment area. A consultation is the first step to establish how Ultherapy would best meet your goals.
At Transform, an Ultherapy treatment can start from £450 for the brows or lips. We also offer a number of treatment packages as well as flexible ways to pay with a minimum spend of £1,000.
