So, tell me more about the magic of CoolSculpting…
The CoolSculpting system is based on the science of using cold temperatures to specifically target fat cells. Once these cells have crystallised they begin to breakdown and are dependent on the body’s own natural process to clear them out through the lymphatic system. As soon as the process of elimination has begun, those pockets of stubborn fat soon become a thing of the past.
CoolSculpting uses controlled cooling to target fat cells in areas of the body which are particularly resistant to diet and exercise- and with over 7 million treatments performed globally, it is revolutionising the world of body contouring.
The treatment can reduce fat in the treated area by up to 27%, offering scientifically proven results, backed by years of research and with 52 clinical journal papers published.
Will it help me lose weight?
If it’s weight loss you’re after, then it’s not necessarily for you. The ideal candidates for CoolSculpting will have noticeable areas of stubborn fat around their stomach, flanks, lower back, inner thighs, bingo wings, legs, buttocks, hips and thighs that they would like to contour, this is not for people that are overweight or obese. This is for stubborn pockets of fat that they want to shift, no matter how hard you walk on that stepper.
Is the CoolSculpting treatment safe?
At Transform, the safety and wellness of all of our customers are of utmost importance which is why we only use treatment systems which have the highest safety status. CoolSculpting is an FDA cleared procedure and has comprehensive built-in safety measures which means that if the controlled cooling sensors detect that the skin is getting way too cold, the system will shut down automatically, keeping you safe.
How much does CoolSculpting cost?
The starting cost is £600 but will be totally dependent upon the number of treated areas and the number of sessions. During the consultation, a personalised treatment plan will be planned with one of our medical aesthetic experts based on your overall goals and what you are hoping to achieve.
Here at Transform, we’ve made it easy to budget for your treatment with our two finance options. You can pay a deposit of just £500 and choose either 12 monthly interest-free payments or you can spread the cost of your course of CoolSculpting treatments over two to five years.
Can I have CoolSculpting on my chin?
CoolSculpting is perfect for those stubborn areas of fat which are often hereditary and won’t budge regardless of diet and exercise – a great example of an area where this treatment can actually be really effective is tackling a double chin. As it’s only a really small area, this can also be the most affordable area to treat as it only requires a mini-applicator and takes around 35 minutes per session.
Why should I choose CoolSculpting?
If you’re a good candidate for it, CoolSculpting has some benefits over other fat-elimination procedures. Fat cells frozen by the treatment also never return because the body eliminates them.
There are no incisions because it’s a non-invasive procedure, and there’s no scarring after treatment. There is also no recovery time and you can return to your normal daily activities without delay afterwards. You can expect temporary redness, with mild tingling and numbness in the treated area which soon disappears following treatment.
What can I expect during treatment?
Once you have been assessed and the treated area(s) have been confirmed, the applicator is placed on the targeted area and a vacuum is used to draw in the excess fat before the process starts. As the cooling begins, a numbing sensation is felt for approximately 5-10 mins.
The treatment is delivered by a selected applicator dependent on the area treated e.g. flanks, 2 small heads are needed. Your practitioner will then advise you on the number of sessions required which is typically repeated 3 months later to get the best results possible. The treatment duration will vary and is dependent on the area and the number of areas being treated in one visit.
How many cycles of CoolSculpting would you recommend?
As everyone has different concerns about their body, the number of CoolSculpting cycles will vary from person to person.
Your treatment plan will be customised during your consultation and several options are explored in reducing the fat and contouring your body shape. For example, you may want to have treatment in multiple areas or you may wish to revisit the treated area to further improve your results.
Who are suitable candidates for CoolSculpting?
This procedure is brilliant for those who spend a lot of time and effort in trying to lose weight but find it difficult to shift impervious and stubborn pockets of fat.
How long will it be until I see results?
You will start to see results from 7 weeks post-treatment with the most effective results taking place in just 1 – 3 months.
Further sessions can additionally improve your results and it’s worth noting that lifestyle changes that include drinking plenty of water and exercising lightly can help to maintain the effects.
Is CoolSculpting permanent?
Yes, results are certainly permanent in the area that has been treated. But ordering that weekly Deliveroo won’t help, a healthy balanced diet must be maintained afterwards to keep these results.
