5 grid-worthy trends for 2019
Top beauty trends for 2019
Whether you are already partial to a non-surgical treatment or two and regularly come to see us for your twice-yearly filler top-ups or if you are completely new to medical aesthetics…
It can’t be denied that the industry is seriously heating up for 2019 as more and more people are beginning to take notice and consider medical aesthetics treatments where they might not have before. This could mean your first lip enhancement or venture into wrinkle treatments or as a more seasoned aesthetics aficionado, you might be racing to try the latest innovation in collagen-boosting skin treatments.
This year more than ever, non-surgical treatments are becoming both more advanced and more affordable, which means that aesthetic practitioners can now address a multitude of skin concerns from teenage acne to anti-ageing. The growing industry means that there are now medical aesthetics treatments for almost everyone regardless of age and gender, and with every budget in mind.
Coming to your gram grid soon…
1. Jawline contouring using fillers
Set to be one of the most enviable Instagram trends of the year ahead, jawline contouring involves sculpting, redefining and adding shape to your face using dermal fillers for a longer-lasting look than contour liquids and powders can offer. You can read all about jawline fillers on the blog.
Whilst we are on the topic of medical aesthetics treatments becoming more accessible as the years roll on, it’s important to point out that here at Transform, all injectable treatments are only ever performed by a doctor or a nurse practitioner in a clinical environment.
2. Baby Botox
Line and wrinkle smoothing is a favourite amongst both our male and female customers who are looking to address noticeable signs of ageing especially crow’s feet around the eyes, forehead and smile lines. What we’ve noticed in the past year, which is set to continue well into 2019, is a spike in the number of 18-24-year olds who are starting their treatment earlier, opting for small volumes of injectable, which in turn can prevent fine lines from forming whilst they are still youthful.
3. Less is more when it comes to lip fillers
The half-ml is king in 2019. When it comes to plumping up our pout, this year it’s all about subtle, natural enhancements which are focused around outlining the lips and defining the oh-so-feminine cupid’s bow rather than adding overall volume and projection.
Our customers are looking for smaller volumes of filler to enhance their already gorgeous natural features, opting for our Juvederm Vycross range of fillers such as Volbella and Volift which can create softer, more natural looking results than older and more traditional lip filler product ranges.
4. Micro-needling updated
Microneedling is also set to be big news this year and here at Transform are already using the latest in microneedling technology.
We use the m.pen [pro] which delivers results safely and effectively. Think of it as an update to traditional microneedle methods, the m.pen [pro] technology is an effective wireless device which features different speeds and depths for greater efficiency and safety. The device helps to maximise the benefits of any skin care products used following the treatment, allowing them to be easily absorbed into the skin.
We currently offer microneedling across the facial region including the forehead, chin, cheeks and under eye area.
5. The no-peel skin peel
We’ll say it, 2019 is the year of the skin treatment. More and more of us are beginning to take better care of our skin whether that means investing in good quality skincare products and committing to a daily routine or having regular treatments to treat blemishes, scars and help reduce the signs of ageing.
But more than that, we are now looking to chemical peels and facial treatments which can have the same results as their more invasive counterparts but are fundamentally less aggressive on the skin.
In our clinics, we offer a range of Epionce and Obagi peels which can address the following skin concerns:
- Revitalise dull skin tones
- Improve overall texture for a more youthful look
- Rejuvenate and repair skin around the eyes and mouth and on the face, neck, hands, forearms and chest.
- Reduce and improve the appearance of acne scarring, skin damage, fine lines and wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, liver spots and other signs of ageing.
Our doctors, nurse practitioners and aestheticians make up our team of medical aesthetics experts, together performing thousands of treatments each year. We are proud to only use the highest quality, FDA-approved products, always in a clinical environment.
Our experts use premium brands, so we’re able to provide our clients with the very best, long-lasting results. If you’re thinking about starting your medical aesthetics journey, our specialist can put together a personalised treatment plan based on your goals and the look you want to achieve.
