Wrinkle smoothing

Why choose line and wrinkle smoothing treatments

Over time, your face will naturally start to develop lines and wrinkles. You don’t have to live with them though. When administered by our professional, reputable doctors and nurses, popular treatments such as Botox® can smooth the appearance of forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet and laughter lines to make your skin look younger.

Botox® won’t remove your lines and wrinkles all together forever, but you’ll see the difference in a few days and the effect can last 3 to 4 months. This is why a carefully devised treatment plan, like an extension of your skincare regime, is important to help you look more youthful for longer.

Treatments available

Fine line and wrinkle smoothing treatment using Botox® isn’t the only answer. If you have deeper lines and wrinkles, dermal fillers might be a more effective treatment for you. For an overall rejuvenated, fresher appearance you might also consider facial peels, microdermabrasion or skin tightening as part of your personal treatment plan.

To establish which treatment is right for you, you should first book a free appointment.

What line and wrinkle treatment using Botox® involves

Firstly, Botox® is a prescription only drug and at Transform, only our fully qualified Botox® doctors and nurses will prescribe and carry out your treatment.

Botox® is injected into the area to be treated using a very fine needle. It takes no more than 15 minutes and there’s just a little discomfort. Conveniently, no anaesthetic is required so you can leave the clinic whenever you are ready.

3 questions you should ask

What is being injected?
Who is injecting me?
Where is my treatment taking place?

At Transform we only use Botox®, and believe patients should always check with their practitioner which botulinium brand is being administered, to help make sure you're fully informed about line and wrinkle smoothing treatments.

Clinic regulation

Our network of 27 Transform clinics are inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England, the Scottish Health Board in Scotland, the Welsh Healthcare Inspectorate (HIW) and The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority in Northern Ireland (RQIA). This ensures we meet strict national standards of clinical hygiene and care. So you can be assured of the quality of your local Transform clinic and treatment you receive.

After your treatment

All we ask is that you have no alcohol on treatment day, avoid tilting your head forwards for a few hours afterwards and do not exercise for 24 hours. If you’ve any temporary discomfort, just take ordinary painkillers.

Results

Botox® treatment slowly relaxes the muscles in your face to smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It can take up to a few days for this to happen and for you to see the results. The effects can last from 3 to 4 months. Treating any lines or wrinkles as they reappear, future treatments should last longer as your muscles are already trained to relax.

Treatment plan costs

Botox® injections cost from £199 for one area. These injections could be just one part of a structured personal treatment plan devised in consultation with one of our fully qualified non-surgical practitioners. Book a free appointment now to create your treatment plan.
