Nose Surgery

What nose surgery can achieve

If you are unhappy with your nose, our highly skilled and experienced surgeons can help do something about it. Nose surgery can correct anything from the tip or bridge of your nose to adjusting your nostrils. One or a combination of these procedures could completely transform your nose.

Our solution to your nose issues

If you want to make a change to the appearance of your nose, book a consultation with one of our Patient Care Co-ordinators to discuss precisely what you want to achieve. If you wish to proceed, we’ll then arrange a free consultation with a nose surgeon. They’ll explain the type of surgery you will need to get the results you want. See our step-by-step guide that details each stage of the process from pre-op to aftercare.

The techniques we use

Our experienced surgeons can perform three main types of nose surgery that are conducted under anaesthetic All procedures are performed at one of our Transform hospitals and you may be required to stay overnight after surgery.

1. Rhinoplasty

This is a full correction involving the bridge, nose tip and nostrils.

2. Septorhinoplasty

This is the same as Rhinoplasty, but also includes alteration to the internal septum.

3. Rhinotip

Rhinotip is the tip correction and nostril adjustment.

Side effects, risks and complications

Whilst all nose surgery is performed by our experienced surgeons under anaesthetic, any surgical procedure carries the rare risk of complications. We’ll explain these clearly before you book your nose surgery, and you’ll find full details in our nose surgery patient guide.

After surgery

The immediate area will be sore, bruised and swollen for several days and we may prescribe some pain killers. You might want to take a few days off work in the early stages of healing. We'll give you clear, practical advice on how to look after your nose as it begins to heal and a 24/7 patient helpline number to call if you've any worries. We'll also ask you to make one or more follow-up appointments to check you progress. This is just part of our 3-year full aftercare programme.

How much does it cost?

Depending on the type of surgery required, you can expect the cost of nose surgery to begin at around £3,500.
