Microskin is the revolutionary new simulated second-skin product available exclusively from Transform in the UK. Originally developed in Australia, this completely waterproof system allows the skin to breathe naturally, while providing effective coverage for birthmarks, vitiligo, burns, heavy scarring, rosacea, eczema, skin grafts and tattoos.
It doesn’t induce perspiration and, unlike traditional creams, will not rub off and stain clothing. Microskin is completely waterproof and stays on the skin for up to five days after application and comes in travel size bottles that you can take on holiday.
Transform is the exclusive UK partner of Microskin. From March 2019, our Microskin package will be available from 10 of our clinics across the UK – with our fully trained, experienced and dedicated staff teaching you how to apply the product to your skin in the comfort of your own home.
Each year at Transform, we perform tens of thousands of medical aesthetics and cosmetic surgery procedures. More than 19 out of every 20 patients rate our service as either good or excellent, which is testament to the quality of the expertise held in our world-class teams of aestheticians, nurses, practitioners and surgeons.
Our network of 19 specialist clinics and three dedicated hospitals is another major source of pride. We’re sure you’ll love your experience with us. From the moment, you first meet your aesthetician, we’ll do everything we can to support you on your way to the future you want, every step of the way!
Microskin treatments are available from 10 Transform clinics: Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, London Cornhill, London Weymouth Street, Manchester City Centre, Newcastle, The Pines Hospital (Manchester), The Riverside Hospital (London), and Sheffield.
Microskin is a camouflage colour correction treatment. A typical consultation would last between 45 minutes and an hour. During your consultation, our trained aesthetician will scan your skin to provide us with an exact colour match. There are 35 colours to choose from in the Microskin range, so you can be confident of achieving a natural look.
Once the colour of your Microskin treatment has been determined, the aesthetician will show you how to apply the product to your skin and provide you with three months’ worth of products. After three months, you can either reattend the clinic or buy your next three months’ supply online and have it delivered straight to your door. At the end of your second cycle, six months after your initial appointment, you will probably be advised to revisit your nearest Transform clinic for another scan. This will make sure you are still using the closest colour match if your skin colour has changed in the six months since your first scan.
Yes. Microskin is completely waterproof and each application lasts for up to five days. It does not induce perspiration and you can continue with normal activities, such as swimming and sports. Using microksin allows you to live your life without your skin condition/concern holding you back!
