Time to focus on you

Dermal filler injections are a great way to plump your skin, smooth wrinkles, augment your lips, and fill deep lines. We offer a variety of high quality, hyaluronic-based dermal fillers, and can create a bespoke treatment package to help you achieve the look you want.

If you’ve noticed that your lines and wrinkles are quite deep, or sunken cheeks are making your face look tired, dermal fillers could help to restore a more youthful look. They can be used to create the illusion of a stronger bone structure, giving you a more contoured effect, can define and fill out lips, and give a more youthful appearance overall through the injection of fillers under the skin.

Dermal fillers can last from 6 months up to 2 years, and will slowly break down through your body’s own natural processes.

We’re all a work in progress

You’ll see an instant result with dermal fillers. The treatment can give you contouring and definition by lifting and projecting your cheeks, redefining your jawline or reshaping your chin. You may also notice that fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed out.

You could even fit the treatment into a lunch break, as it only takes between 30 and 45 minutes and has minimal downtime or side effects.

Let’s delve into the detail

As with all medical aesthetic treatments, it’s important to weigh up the risks involved against the benefits that the treatment can bring. Your medical aesthetic practitioner will talk you through all the risks and complications of the treatment.

Side effects are usually minimal, but you may experience redness, minor swelling and bruising around the injection site.

You may feel like you’ve lost the spring, elasticity and firmness in your skin over time, and you might also be looking to contour your cheeks, jaw or chin, or plump your lips. Your medical aesthetic practitioner can talk you through how we can create the look you desire.

They’ll determine whether you’re a suitable candidate for this treatment by taking details of your medical history and chatting through them with you. They’ll also run through the results you can realistically expect.

You so deserve this

Dermal fillers can last between 6 months to 2 years.
Do dermal fillers hurt?
Dermal fillers can feel slightly uncomfortable during the treatment, and there may be some swelling/bruising in the area afterwards, but this should subside within 48 hours. Over the counter painkillers can be taken to reduce any discomfort.

Next steps

We’re ready when you are

Your first appointment

The first step on your journey is to meet your surgeon assistant. You’ll be able to talk to them about why you’re considering dermal filler treatment, which filler product/s may be right for you, the likely costs and finance options, and when you’d like to have the treatment. If you feel ready, we’ll then book you in for your free consultation with one of our professional practitioners or nurses.

Your treatment consultation

At your free consultation, your professional practitioner or nurse will ask you about the results you want to achieve. They’ll guide you through your treatment options and create a personal anti-ageing plan for you to ensure you achieve the best results. It may be that they’ll recommend an alternative treatment type like chemical facial peels, microdermabrasion or skin tightening that they think will better suit your needs. They’ll talk you through the dermal filler products we use at Transform and let you know which one, or which combination/s, will achieve the best results for you.

At Transform we only provide temporary fillers, because permanent fillers can cause long-term problems. We use four high quality, FDA-approved cosmetic filler ranges.

You can discuss every aspect of your treatment with us, with no obligation to go ahead. Our practitioners and nurses are extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions you have. If you feel ready to go ahead, we can book your treatment in for a date and time that suits you.

The treatment

On the day of your treatment, you’ll be able to go through any last-minute questions with your practitioner or nurse. They’ll apply a numbing cream to the areas where the dermal filler is going to be injected. Once it’s taken effect, your practitioner will use a very fine needle to carefully complete the series of small injections. The treatment takes between 30 and 45 minutes and, although you may experience some slight swelling or bruising, you’ll be able to see the results straight away.

You’ll be able to leave the clinic as soon as your treatment has been completed, and you should be fine to go about your normal day-to-day activities. Any swelling or bruising usually disappears within 48 hours.

We believe that the highest quality aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself, so we’re here to support you. If you have any questions or concerns at all, you can contact our 24/7 helpline. You’ll have a follow up appointment with us 1-2 weeks later, when we’ll check that you’re happy with the results. We recommend you don’t touch the area that’s been treated or apply makeup for 24-48 hours to avoid any bacteria getting into the injection sites. Depending on the type of filler that’s used, the results can last between six months and two years.
