Most men have moles on their body – in fact, 10-40 on average*. But moles and other skin lesions can be irritated by clothing, hair and shaving – and some may even present health problems. In most cases, we’re able to use the latest techniques to remove cysts, moles and skin tags quickly and easily.
If your moles or cysts cause discomfort or make you feel self-conscious, our practitioners can carry out a simple procedure designed to remove them safely. The whole mole removal process takes only around 20 minutes (depending on how many you are treating during your session) and you can usually leave the clinic straight afterwards, with no recovery time needed.
After the mole or cyst removal, we will then send them for analysis to ensure that there are no abnormal cells. Almost all common lesions are benign; however, for your peace of mind, we would refer you to your doctor if there were any suspicions.

The procedure generally takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on how many moles, cysts, skin tags or lesions need to be removed.
We offer treatment for Moles brown or black growths on the skin. Cysts sacs filled with fluid or semi-fluid material. Skin tags small protruding pieces of skin that can grow in the groin area, armpits, neck and eyelids. Skin lesions surface growths or patches of the skin that don’t resemble the skin around it. Lentigines, small dark spots on the skin that can be a genetic condition caused by excessive radiation or sun exposure
This procedure is commonly performed by our resident Dermatologist, who will remove the mole, cyst, skin tag or lesion, and send it for analysis to ensure that there are no abnormal cells. Our experienced doctors will then complete the procedure by inserting small stitches.
A local anaesthetic is used to keep any pain to a minimum, and this is applied 5-10 minutes before the procedure begins.
You’ll be able to leave the clinic as soon as your treatment has been completed, and you should be fine to go about your normal day-to-day activities. You’ll need to keep the wound dry for two days and you’ll be advised to return to the clinic to have your stitches removed 7-10 days post-treatment.
The techniques we use are designed to minimise any scarring, however after removing a mole, cyst, skin tag or lesion, a small scar may remain, which should fade in time. Rarely, some people with very dark or light skin may find they have a larger scar than usual.
The risks associated with mole and cyst removal are very minimal. Transform hospitals and clinics have an exceptionally high standard of hygiene, which means there is a low risk of infection.
When you come to Transform, the entire experience is designed around you and your needs. We’ll listen carefully to your aspirations for being the best you, and you’ll receive all the advice and support you need throughout your journey with us. Here’s a step-by-step guide to what you can expect.
