Dermal fillers can be used to plump up your skin, smooth wrinkles and fill out deep lines.
Here at Transform, we offer a variety of different filler types, and can create a bespoke treatment package to help you get just the look you want.
Are dermal fillers right for me?
Dermal fillers might be for you if:
- You’ve noticed that lines, wrinkles or sunken cheeks are making your face look tired
- Your lines and wrinkles are quite deep, meaning Botox® isn’t right for you;
- You feel like having smoother, generally younger looking skin would make you happier with your appearance, but you won’t want to go as far as a facelift
Dermal fillers can be used on a variety of areas including cheek hollows, nose to mouth (peril oral) lines, around the mouth and lips, forehead, mouth to chin lines, lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), and acne scars.
- The treatment takes less than 45 minutes to complete, you’ll see results immediately, and you can get back to doing the things you enjoy right away.
- As different types of fillers are better suited to different facial areas, we offer a selection of dermal filler products here at Transform, including Juvederm®, Restylane® and Sculptra® (see the 'More details on dermal fillers' section below for a detailed look at each).
- Depending on the type of filler that’s used, results can last for anywhere between six months and two years plus.
We also offer a variety of other anti-ageing skin treatments like wrinkle treatments (Botox®), chemical facial peels and microdermabrasion. Book a free consultation with one of our patient care co-ordinators and we can chat about the best option for you.
Dermal filler costs
Here at Transform, we understand what you’re looking for.
We’ll create a personal treatment plan designed to meet your individual needs, completely free of charge. Dermal filler treatments start from £180 but the price can vary dependant on the filler being used and the number of sessions required.
What causes deep lines and wrinkles, hollows and sunken cheeks?
Over time, your skin slowly loses the collagen that helps shape and support it.
Sun exposure, smoking, air pollution and everyday stresses can speed up the ageing process, causing lines, wrinkles and sagging to develop more quickly.
Dermal fillers replace the collagen that’s been lost to help you look fresher again.
Who will perform the dermal fillers treatment?
At Transform, dermal fillers treatment is only ever administered by fully qualified, highly trained doctors and nurses.
How long do dermal fillers last?
The effects of Juvederm® and Restylane® last for between 6 to 24 months, while Sculptra® can last for more than two years – see the ‘More about dermal fillers’ section to find out more.
Is the treatment painful?
We apply a special numbing cream to the area that’s going to be treated, so, though getting dermal fillers might be a touch uncomfortable, it shouldn’t be painful.
How long does the procedure take?
The treatment usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes.
Are there any after/side effects?
There might be a small amount of swelling or bruising around the site of the injections but this usually subsides significantly within 30 minutes or so and disappears entirely within 48 hours.
How soon after can I leave the clinic?
As there’s no recovery time attached to dermal filler treatments, you can leave the clinic as soon as you feel ready.
Is there any aftercare required?
Other than a follow up appointment one to two weeks after, there’s no aftercare required, and any temporary discomfort you feel right after the procedure can be treated with ordinary painkillers.

Your free consultation
Get in touch with us and we’ll arrange a chat about dermal fillers.
Your patient care coordinator will talk you through the various dermal filler products we use here at Transform and which one – or which combination – will achieve the best results for you.
Then we’ll put together your personalised anti-ageing treatment plan; if you’re happy with everything, it’s time to book your treatment in for a date and time that suits you.
The day of your treatment
After taking you through the permission forms, we’ll cleanse the area that’s going to be treated and apply a numbing cream, which takes about half an hour to take effect.
Small amounts of dermal filler are then injected directly into the skin using an ultrafine needle. This may be a touch uncomfortable, but shouldn’t hurt thanks to the numbing cream.
The treatment takes between 30 and 45 minutes, and, although you any experience some slight swelling or bruising, you’ll be able to see the results straight away.
After your treatment
There’s no recovery time needed, so you can return to day-to-day activities as soon as you’d like, and any swelling or bruising usually disappears within 48 hours.
You’ll have a follow up appointment with us to one to two weeks after so we can check that you’re totally happy with the results.
