As well as our most popular wrinkle smoothing treatment Botox® – which you can find out more about below – we also offer a variety of other skin rejuvenating treatments like microdermabrasion, dermal fillers, skin tightening and chemical facial peels.
Not sure which is the one for you? Then book a free consultation with one of our patient care co-ordinators and we can chat about the best options.
Which treatment is right for me?
Following a consultation, Botox® can be prescribed to temporarily relax the facial muscles in order to smooth out wrinkles and lines.*
Your treatment will generally take under 30 minutes, and you can usually get back to everyday life straight away:*
- Love the results? Don’t forget that you’ll need ‘top ups’ every four months or so if you want to maintain the smoother look for longer.
- Botox® works best on fine lines and wrinkles. If yours are quite deep, dermal fillers might be more effective.

What causes wrinkles?
Over exposure to the sun, smoking, city living, squinting at monitors, and, of course, the ageing process all take their toll on your skin.
As you get older, your face starts to develop fine lines and wrinkles as collagen and elastin fibres break down, causing skin to lose its strength and smoothness.
How does Botox® work?
Botox® blocks the nerve impulses to the muscles so they relax and can’t contract. This causes lines and wrinkles to soften too.
Who will perform the wrinkle smoothing treatment?
At Transform, all Botox® treatments are carried out by either a doctor or fully qualified nurse.
Are there any after/side effects?
You’ll need to avoid tilting your head forwards for a few hours and shouldn’t exercise for 24 hours after, but that’s it! You can just take ordinary painkillers to relive any temporary discomfort you might have around the site of the injections.
When will I be able to see the results of the treatment?
As it takes a little while for your muscles to relax completely, results aren’t immediate. You’ll see the difference between around five days to two weeks after your treatment.
How long does Botox® last?
This will differ from person-to-person, but it’s usually between three and four months – that’s why we usually recommend having a top up treatment every four months.

Your free consultation
Get in touch with us to arrange a chat about our wrinkle smoothing treatments.
One of our patient care coordinators will meet with you to discuss the look you want to achieve.
As Botox® is a prescription only medicine, we’ll also need to go through your medical history to be sure it’s suitable for you.
It may be that we’ll recommend an alternative treatment type – like chemical facial peels, microdermabrasion, or skin tightening – that we think will better suit your needs.
We’ll then put together your personalised anti-ageing treatment plan; if you’re happy with it all, we can book your treatment in for a date and time that suits you.
The day of your treatment
You won’t need to do anything to prepare for your treatment – all we ask is that you not drink any alcohol that day.
Once you arrive, a numbing cream will be applied to the areas where the Botox® is going to be injected. Once it’s taken effect, your practitioner will use a very fine needle to carefully complete the series of small injections. This usually takes less than 15 minutes in total, and, though it may be a little uncomfortable, shouldn’t hurt.
You can leave the clinic as soon as the treatment’s been completed, and should be totally fine to go about your normal day-to-day activities. You’ll just need to avoid tilting your head forwards for a while and not exercise for the next 24 hours.
If you do experience minor soreness in your face, you can just take ordinary painkillers to make yourself more comfortable.
The Botox® we use
Botox® is the commonly used name for botulinum toxin, but it’s actually a brand name.
We only use genuine FDA approved Botox® at Transform. It’s more expensive, but by using the premium brand, we’re able to provide our clients with the very best, longest lasting results.
You can instantly identify genuine Botox® by the purple or red cap and the hologram on the packaging. It should be stored – as it always is at Transform – in a fridge.
Other uses for Botox®
Did you know that Botox® can also be used as an effective treatment for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) too?
Injecting it into areas like the armpits and hands blocks the nerve impulses that cause your body to sweat.
Why choose Transform for Botox®?
- We only use genuine FDA approved Botox®.
- All Transform Botox® doctors and nurses are professionally qualified to both prescribe and administer your Botox® injections.
- We’ll create a personal anti-ageing treatment plan for you to ensure you achieve exactly the results you want.
*Non surgical treatment results and benefits can vary and are different for each individual. As such, Transform cannot guarantee specific results.
