Our partnership with the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners

Transform is delighted to be the first medical aesthetics provider to partner with the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP).

Who are the JCCP?

Launched in February 2019, the JCCP is a self-regulating body for the non-surgical aesthetics and hair restoration sectors. Its aim is to improve patient safety by informing the public about the risks associated with medical aesthetic treatments, and to provide a mechanism (the JCCP Practitioner Register), to clearly identify safe and appropriately trained practitioners who work in these specialist areas.

All members of the register must meet the JCCP’s competency framework, which means patients can rest assured that anyone listed on the register holds the appropriate level of skill and qualification to perform medical aesthetics treatments.

Transform's promise

At Transform, we are committed to ensuring that all patients are able to start their treatment journey with confidence in the individual carrying out their procedure and know what to expect when it comes to the quality of care being delivered. We have partnered with the JCCP as part of this commitment and to demonstrate our ongoing dedication to delivering the highest quality of care to patients and to contributing to improving standards across the sector.

What does this mean for us?

In practice, our partnership means that all of Transform’s health care practitioners who are involved in administering medical aesthetics treatments, are now members of the JCCP Practitioner Register and have signed up to the JCCP and Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority Joint Code of Practice.

All of these practitioners can be searched and individually identified on the JCCP register, so patients seeking treatment can be assured of their practitioner’s professional competence and the fact that they hold the right qualifications.

Transform and the JCCP are also working together on a series of marketing and communications initiatives to raise public awareness around the risks associated with medical aesthetics treatments and the importance of using fully competent and registered practitioners.

Take a look at our video below for further information on our JCCP partnership. Alternatively, if you are ready to go ahead with your journey you can book a free consultation with our expert practitioners.
