Patient story #17 Nikki
“I love my new breasts. Now I’m the woman I once was!”
I had always had a decent size bust before having my children but the effects of breastfeeding and weight loss had made them saggy and smaller, and no matter how much I worked out at the gym, I couldn’t get my breasts to how they once were.
I felt so deflated and low about my body, that I became very depressed. I was not a self-conscious woman before this happened, so it was very alien to me to feel this way. The big 4-0 was also just around the corner, and I dreaded this feeling following me into a new decade.
For my 40th birthday I had decided that I would love to go on a cruise – but with new and improved breasts. Planning the cruise was the perfect reason to sort my breasts out beforehand as I knew to enjoy it, I had to feel happy and confident about my body. I was fed-up of feeling so negative and self-conscious all the time.
I did a lot of research into the procedure that I would be undergoing. I looked at a lot of different clinics and investigated many surgeons until I found Transform and was impressed by their professionalism and attentiveness.
- Enjoying being 40…
The most exciting thing was for me was to go bra and bikini shopping for my birthday cruise – for the first time in a long time, I walked into the changing rooms with my head held high, and enjoyed looking at myself in the mirror.*
I am once again very comfortable in my body and love my new breasts. They have made my 40th year the best year of my life, and now I’m the woman I once was!*
