Mr Haitham Khashaba

Mr Haitham Khashaba is an experienced Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a specialist interest in breast surgery, microsurgery and perineal reconstruction. Registered on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery, he combines advanced surgical expertise with a patient-centred approach to deliver high standards of care and tailored treatment plans.

Mr Khashaba obtained his Master’s degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo in 2008 and has since developed extensive experience across a variety of healthcare settings. His career has included working in hospitals in Egypt, Kuwait and the United Kingdom, providing him with a broad range of experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery within NHS and private healthcare environments.

Throughout his surgical career, Mr Khashaba has held several specialist positions, including Breast Microfellow and Plastic Surgery Specialist Registrar at North Bristol NHS Trust. His dedication to patient care and clinical excellence was recognised in 2020 when he received both the Chairman’s Award and the Excellence in Clinical Care Award from University Hospital North Durham.

Committed to maintaining the highest standards of practice, Mr Khashaba regularly attends specialist conferences, workshops and training courses to remain up to date with the latest developments in plastic and reconstructive surgery. His focus on continuous professional development ensures patients benefit from modern techniques and evidence-based care.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Khashaba has made significant contributions to medical research, clinical audits and quality improvement programmes. He has authored and contributed to scientific publications and has presented his work at national and international conferences, including BAPRAS meetings and the World Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He is also a regular speaker at international conferences and serves as faculty for a number of national surgical training programmes, helping to educate and support the next generation of surgeons.
