Mr Mubashir Cheema

Mr Mubashir Cheema is a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience in cosmetic, reconstructive and microsurgical procedures. He specialises in breast surgery, body contouring and abdominal surgery, combining advanced surgical techniques with a patient-centred approach to deliver natural-looking, personalised results.

After qualifying in medicine in 2001, Mr Cheema completed his surgical training in the United Kingdom, becoming both a Member and later a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He further advanced his expertise by obtaining a Master’s degree in Reconstructive Microsurgery in Barcelona and successfully completing the European Board examination in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Throughout his career, Mr Cheema has gained extensive international experience across the UK and Europe. A significant milestone was his fellowship at Akademikliniken in Stockholm, Sweden, one of Europe’s leading cosmetic surgery centres. During this fellowship, he was involved in more than 500 cosmetic procedures, gaining advanced experience in breast augmentation, breast uplift, breast reduction, tummy tuck surgery and complex body contouring procedures.

His additional specialist training includes fellowships at Hospital Sant Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona and University Hospital Birmingham, where he further developed his expertise in reconstructive microsurgery and hand surgery. He remains committed to continuous professional development through international training courses, conferences and specialist educational programmes.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Cheema is actively involved in medical education and research. He has taught surgical skills to medical professionals for many years and has served as faculty for the FRCS (Plast) examination preparation course since 2017. He has authored numerous publications in leading plastic surgery journals and published the book Principles and Practice of Plastic Surgery. His dedication to education, research and clinical excellence continues to contribute to the advancement of plastic and aesthetic surgery.
