Simon, 34, from Newcastle, had gynaecomastia surgery with Transform. He first considered having this treatment when he was on holiday. He’d lost a substantial amount of weight and wasn’t feeling confident about going outside. ”I’d always wear a t-shirt, so at that point I thought I’d go in for the surgery. I discussed this with my family and my wife, and they encouraged me and supported me throughout. And they were the reason I went ahead with this surgery.

Then I came to the hospital in Manchester, and they looked after me one hundred per cent. I met the surgeon, who was very supportive and friendly and explained to me what would happen. I couldn’t be happier with the service I got from them. The aftercare was really good. They kept in contact with me throughout, checking up how I was.

Before surgery I wouldn’t take my top off in public places, going on holiday it was quite uncomfortable, so I wore a t-shirt all the time when I was abroad.

The biggest difference for me is that I feel a lot more confident going out, socialising, even going on holiday. The advice I would give to anyone considering it is just to go ahead and do it, don’t put it off. I would definitely recommend Transform again.”
