In Lauren Brown's Words

When Lauren would change for PE at secondary school, she started to notice that she wasn’t developing the same ‘assets’ as her friends were. She’d always hoped that her breasts would grow more later on, but as time went by she had accepted that they just weren’t going to be the size she wanted naturally.

Lauren says, “When I say I was flat-chested, I really mean it – there was nothing to me at all. As I got older, I became even more upset about it. I’d never wear a bikini on holiday, always opting for a big, thick, padded swimsuit and kimono instead to cover up.

“When I was 18, my mum could see that it was affecting my mental health and body confidence, so she suggested we go to see the doctor. They agreed that the best thing for me was to have implants, but added that I’d need to pay for these privately.

My mum, like all parents, saw me as beautiful the way I was, and suggested I should wait until I was a bit older – perhaps I would continue to develop, and having children later down the line would also mean that my body shape would change.”

In 2020, Lauren decided that it was time to take action and get the breast enlargement that she’d wanted for over 10 years. She restarted her research in earnest.

Lauren explains, “I’m a bit of a worrier, and it takes me a long time to research anything so that I’m sure I’m making the right decision. I’m in the beauty industry and had heard a few of my clients say really great things about Transform, so when I saw them on my Google searches, I was already familiar with the company. I had read up about a surgeon that I wanted to carry out my surgery and was delighted when I found out that he worked for Transform. It made my life so much easier – I was able to use the surgeon I wanted so much, and the company I’d heard wonderful things about.”
