The process started over the Covid-19 lockdown, so her first steps were carried out over the phone with a surgeon assistant, followed by a free surgeon consultation via video link.

She recalls, “My surgeon was so kind, and talked me through everything. It all felt very natural and easy. He was professional and honest, and helped me choose the right implants. I didn’t want my breasts to look too big, and so he helped me understand which ones would be best for my body shape. I went from a 32A to a 32D, so they’d feel like a natural enhancement rather than ‘fake boobs’. He gave me lots of support and talked me through things I’d never thought about before. He was clearly very experienced and I was felt at ease the whole way through.”

Lauren remembers that the part she was most frightened of was the thought of being ‘put under’ by general anaesthesia. She continues, “I was so nervous about being put to sleep, but I can honestly say that if I had to go under again for any reason with Transform, I would go back with no worries at all. The hospital team was supportive and kind throughout, and totally took the stress away from the whole process.”

Her recovery was simple and swift. Lauren had been concerned it might be painful, but it was only ever uncomfortable, and she found that easy to manage. “I’m a full-time mum and work full-time too,” she says, “and I was able to get back into normal life much more quickly than I expected. A month after the surgery, I went out for my birthday, and I felt and looked amazing!

“I used to wear really padded bras, with the big chicken fillets inserted, just to fit into an outfit properly. For days after a night out, I’d have cuts on my back because of how tight I would have my underwear to hold the padding in place. Now, to just put on a bra that fits me properly feels so liberating.”

Lauren plans to get married next year and says that she can’t wait to wear a gorgeous backless wedding dress with full confidence.

“My advice for anyone who is thinking about having a breast enlargement is don’t hold back. Just go for it! Life is way too short. I wish I’d done it sooner. It’s changed me completely as a person and given my confidence a real boost. My results are absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t be happier.”
