MENTOR® MemoryGel™ Breast Implants are filled with Mentor’s proprietary cohesive gel, which holds together uniformly while resembling the natural give of breast tissue.

We offer three types of cohesive filling, ranging from soft to firm:

Cohesive I – the softest-feeling gel, available in round gels
Cohesive II – slightly firmer, available in round gels
Cohesive III – MENTOR®’s firmest gel, available in contour profile gels (teardrop implants)

Are Mentor breast implants safe?

What kind of silicone is used?

Mentor breast implants contain the latest generation of silicone. Their uniquely formulated gel is cohesive, which means that they hold safely and uniformly together to deliver a natural feel designed to resemble natural breast tissue.

Are Mentor breast implants right for me?

Mentor implants are available as either round or teardrop and in different projections and sizes to suit your body shape. During your consultation, your surgeon will advise you on which breast implants will be right for you in terms of achieving your desired results.

What does FDA approved mean?

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates the marketing approval of products, new drugs and medical devices. Products must be proven safe before companies can send them to market. The FDA 2019 medical product evaluation includes reviewing laboratory and clinical results to evaluate and make a judgement about whether the new products benefits outweigh its risks. No regulated product is totally risk-free, so these judgments are important.
