Cosmetic Surgeon
Dr Huseyin Can Yucel is a cosmetic surgeon whose practice covers facial, breast and body surgery, built on a strong reconstructive foundation. He is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and holds a Licence to Practise.
He graduated in medicine from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, in 2018 at the top of his class, and ranked first nationwide in both the clinical and basic sciences sections of the Turkish National Medical Specialisation Exam (TUS). He went on to complete five and a half years of residency training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at the same institution, with training spanning reconstructive microsurgery, craniofacial surgery, breast surgery and body contouring. His residency thesis received the department’s Best Thesis award in 2024.
Dr Yucel holds Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) and is a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (FEBOPRAS). Following residency he practised at Kirklareli Training and Research Hospital and Private Luleburgaz Medikent Hospital.
His reconstructive background shapes the way he plans treatment, with every plan assessed individually around each patient’s anatomy, goals and expectations. Alongside his clinical work he remains active in surgical research, with peer reviewed publications that continue to inform his clinical decision making.
