After gaining his BSc in Biology from the American University of Beirut, he graduated in medicine in Italy at the Policlinico delle Marche in Ancona. He went on to complete an internship in general surgery at La Sapienza University in Rome, and held a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome.

Mr Lahoud has a wealth of experience which he has gained throughout his career in the UK, Italy and Lebanon. He specialises in plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery, with a particular specialism in rhinoplasty. Mr Lahoud continues to conduct research in the field of rhinoplasty, and attends courses to enhance his expertise. He currently teaches two courses at USEK (Université Saint Esprit Kaslik), and has taught, monitored and shared his expertise in rhinoplasty with many colleagues.

Mr Lahoud further shares his knowledge through participating in many scientific publications and presentations in the field of plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Mr Lahoud continues to conduct research in the field of rhinoplasty, and attends courses to enhance his expertise. He has contributed to numerous publications in the Annals of Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

In order to keep updated on new techniques and refinements, he continues to attend and participate annually at international meetings and congresses in cosmetic surgery, with internationally well-renowned plastic surgeons. Since 2012, he has regularly attended the prestigious annual Aston Baker Symposium in Aesthetic Surgery in New York: ‘The Cutting Edge’. He has also attended the European Conference of Scientists and Plastic Surgeons (ECSAPS), as well as other European and Brazilian conferences.
